Wax injection process flow

Shell making process flow

The number of times the mold is coated and hung depends on the requirements of the product. After the mold is coated with slurry and sand, it needs to be dried, and the temperature and humidity of the drying room need to be strictly controlled for the drying of the mold shell. Temperature control is used to prevent wax and mold materials from expanding due to different thermal expansion rates, while humidity control is used to prevent cracking caused by low humidity and fast mold drying speed. If humidity is too high, the mold drying speed will be too slow, affecting production progress. After applying slurry and sand, it must be thoroughly dried before proceeding to the next coat of slurry and sand, otherwise it will affect the strength of the mold.
